Is VR-N900U a true Network recorder (IP recorder) If so, why the unit has 4 analog video inputs on the back panel?
YES, VR-N900U is a TRUE network recorder.
The unit can work with up to 9 IP (network cameras) using a single network cable connection. Please note, NO camera license required.
The 4 analog video inputs on the back panel are from a built in video server. This is used to connect up to 4 analog cameras to the unit (if customer has already some analog camera installed). This built in video server is provided as an added feature to a TRUE network recorder. Please note, connecting analog camera will decrease the number of IP camera connected to VR-N900U
