Will GD-463D10 monitor display a 3D image when using a 3D Blu-ray player that has an HDMI 1.4 output connector? If "yes," then can I use non-Shutter glasses to view the 3D source?

The GD-463D10 was developed and marketed prior the finalization of the HDMI 1.4a standard for 3D.  It is equipped with an HDMI 1.3a connection which does not support all of the mandatory 1.4a 3D formats.   However, one of the mandatory 1.4a formats output formats is side-by-side.  Depending on your Blu-ray player, you may be able to output a side-by-side signal by manually selecting this mode.   If your Blu-ray player allows you to do this, then you will be able to view your 3D content on the GD-463D10 monitor.  Some Blu-ray players give you this capability, and some do not.  (This is a playback mode, not related to the format the content was recorded in.)

To test your Blu-ray player, connect it with an HDMI cable to any LCD or plasma 2D monitor.   If you can invoke a side-by-side mode (left-eye and right-eye images horizontally squeezed and viewed next to each other) then you're in luck! You can view the results in 3D using inexpensive, comfortable passive glasses.
