Blu-ray Recorders

I have a JVC SR-HD1250US Blu-ray & HDD recorder and was wondering what DVD to purchase that supports high speed dubbing?

Our instruction manual indicates what formats of DVD and BluRay disks are compatible for recording. DVD-R, DVD-RW, BD-R, and BD-RE are the commonly available formats, but if you are asking about brand preference, of course JVC.
