I'm trying to copy miniDV tape to DVD. On the dubbing screen, it just sits there with a message that says 'please wait.' Is something wrong?
"Please Wait" will appear on the screen in some cases when using the SR-DVM600/700U combo decks, but should not remain for any extended period of time as you have indicated. Please make certain that you are using the correct type of discs ("-" format), and that the disc has been recognized by the DVD unit before proceeding with the Dub function. If you continue to have this "Please Wait" condition you will need to have your deck evaluated by one of our factory service centers.
